Once upon a time there were two developers in Allen County, IN -  Zohrab Tazian and Mike Thomas. Zohrab begat Ara Tazian and Mike begat Jeff Thomas. They each developed many subdivisions within Allen County, in and around Fort Wayne, Indiana for many years.  For purposes of this story the Thomas' developed Perry Lake Estates and the Tazian's developed Falcon Creek a few years later. In between the two developments is the area pictured below and the main character in this story. It is bordered to the south by Mc Comb Drain, to the east by Belot Drain, to the north by The Meadow (Falcon Creek), and the west common area (Falcon Creek).

The last home on Worthington Dr. west of Tamiami Trl (right side of picture) was completed in May 2003. The only two homes on Galloway Cove were completed in the fall of 2002. Homes to the north in Falcon Creek (Millennium Crossing - not pictured) were completed late 2002 to mid 2003. As people bought the last homes on Worthington/Galloway/Millennium, they were told by either the developer, the builder, or the realtor that the area in question would not be developed for one or more of the following reasons: area was too wet to build; area was too small; would have to build a bridge across the creek; and, there was only access from Perry Lake Estates.

However, late 2005 or early 2006, the Tazian's and Thomas' struck a deal where Oakmont Development would sell their land to Falcon Creek, LLC so that Falcon Creek could develop the combined 11.8 acres. One could surmise that the Thomas' didn't want to develop their land for one of the following reasons: area was to wet to build; area was too small; would require a bridge; and, maybe, just maybe, to sell the lots on Worthington Dr. they told the buyers that the area wouldn't be developed. This deal led to Falcon Creek, LLC and the Allen County Plan Commission meeting with the affected residents the week of February 6, 2006 and is the reason for this web site.

Assessment Information from Allen County web site. Note the listed acreage of each. Doesn't seem to add up to the 11.8 that is listed for the new subdivision. Wonder where the extra land came from?
